Founded by Julia and Yusuf, who made Zanzibar their home in 2019, Dream Dhow was born from a dream to share the island’s beauty and ocean to the people who visit the island. The ocean has always been at the heart of our lives. Yusuf, an experienced diver with years beneath the waves, and Julia, a devoted nature lover and hobby diver, wanted to create experiences that go far beyond an ordinary boat trip. In September 2020, our very first dhow set sail – and since that day, countless magical journeys have been created for travelers from all over the world. What makes Dream Dhow unique is not only our beautifully handcrafted, traditional dhows, but also the feeling you get the moment you step on board.
