Day 1 (Easter Weekend: Saturday 30 March 2024) Hike Ol Doinyo Orok Hills, Namanga This moderate to challenging hike of 4 hours, takes you through the slopes of Ol Doinyo Orok. Led by our local CFA (Communty Forest Association) guide, learn about the significance of the hills to the Maasai Community and the role it plays in Maasai Culture. Do this as you hike past her ample springs, pools and water falls in the serene environment, way away from noise and people. Get in touch with nature as you hike. After your hike, settle down for a sumptuous, rich meal on the Tanzanian side of Namanga. (Lunch is not include and can be booked as an enhancement) Day 2 (Easter Weekend: Sunday 31 March 2024) Luxe Amboseli Safari Experience Depart early in the morning for Amboseli National Park. This premium park, only 1 hour from Namanga, is rich in wildlife and birdlife, a peaceful and relaxing environment to appreciate nature and the vast landscape that is the African Savannah. Take a break in the afternoon to enjoy the famously delicious lunch buffet at the Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. Choose from a wide array of meals catering to the pescatarian, vegetarian, vegan and carnivore. A professional photographer will accompany the group on your entire day trip to ensure you have a beautiful set of photos of you enjoying your experience. Head back to Namanga, in the evening for dinner and a night out on the town or a quiet night in for the less adventurous. (Lunch and dinner are not included and can be booked as an enhancement) Day 3 (Easter Weekend: Monday 01 April 2024) Visit Namanga Experience Visit the unique Tortoise Farm in Namanga. Home to hundreds of Leopard and Hinged Back Tortoises of all sizes. Learn about these feisty and not so slow creatures that freely roam Namanga. After this, embark on a short walking tour of Namanga town. This is a great time to buy souvenirs from the Maasai craftswomen, who make beautiful and distinctive jewellery or some Maasai or Swahili shukas and lesos. Tread through the border, experiencing Kenya and Tanzania all in the same hour. The price on all experiences include: entrance fees, guide fees, CFA fees, conservation fees and transportation for the Amboseli Safari Experience.
